Campagnolo Chorus 2x11 speed groupset is an eye catching and performance orientated drivetrain for road bikes.
The 2018 groupset has a couple of enhancements over the previous years parts. First the jockey wheels have longer teeth to enhance shifting and secondly the rear deraileur is now the HO version with a medium cage option to allow a 11-32T cassette.
Shifting is precise and Campagnolo's Ergo shifters are just that intuitive and comfortable.
The groupset weigh 2123g with the short cage derailleur and 11-27T cassette. All chainset options are available but stock varies so I will probably have to get the version you need in.
The components supplied are all Chorus except the chain which is the non series 11 speed chain because that chain uses the same materials as the new 12 speed chain and wears at a slower rate and is stronger than the record 11 speed chain. The front mech is braze on only. An adapter can be supplied at extra cost for frames without a braze on mount.
Shifting with this groupset is smooth and precise. The shifter knows as Ergo's use the power shift system. Shifter weight is 350g
The rear mech retains the cable pull with the out going non-HO Chorus rear mech so they are interchangeable from that perspective. The chainset uses Campagnolo Ultra-torque Hirth joint bottom bracket system. The bottom bracket bearings are the standard steel FC-RE012. Chainset weight is 686g.
Campagnolo Chorus dual pivot 9front and rear) brakes are included and these brake exceptionally well. Weight of the brakes is 302g.
Cables and casing are included with the Ergo's but full length braking casing is not supplied meaning if your disc brake bike has a full length casing for the rear brake you will need to purchase casing separately.
