The Campagnolo Record mechanical groupset has always been associated with the greatest cycling successes and sublime performance. The new 12 speed groupset continues the legend that is Record.
12 speed is not just 11 speed with an extra sprocket. The rear derailleur is a totally new design. The top jockey wheels sits in front of the cassette and very close too it ensuring maiximum chain wrap around the sprocket engaged thus minimising wear and maximising shift speed and accuracy. The cassette range is wider. The shifters are not called Ergo's for nothing and the thumb shifter has been positioned so downshifting from the drops is even easier than before (it was never hard).

Campagnolo Record disc brake 12 speed groupset. British thread BB is assumed unless you inform me otherwise. BB30, PF30, BB30A, BB86, BB right, Italian thread and BB386 are available. If these are required say it in notes please.
The calipers are flat mount only. Rotors are included.
Campagnolo shifters have always been a one of the most innovative parts of the group set due to their near-perfect ergonomics. Campagnolo have refined the 12x models even further, slightly angling the brake lever blades to allow for greater braking control over rougher surfaces. The curve in the blade is more pronounced, offering greater comfort and aerodynamics. The groups are made even more accessible thanks to three levels of adjustment where the lever can be set for riders with a different reach. The hoods have also been given an update and the Vari-Cushion technology has been further improved allowing Campagnolo to create a hood with different thicknesses giving greater grip, comfort and water dispersion. The shifters have also been enlarged for greater shifting control, with the upshift lever being brought closer to the brake lever blade creating a more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use shifter.
Inner and Outer Cables
Campagnolo have manufactured completely new inner and outer cables. The new versions have a higher level of rigidity and drastically reduce friction and ensure a much longer life. Braking and shifting is impressive thanks to the new technology. Smoothness is maintained even when internally routed through the handlebars.
The front derailleur gives quicker and more immediate upshifting thanks to its new design and trajectory angle. The front derailleur also uses a dual position cable grip bolt to allow for use of tyres up to 32mm following current market trends. The inner cage shape has also been re-designed to enhance shifting fluidity and allow for accurate and fast movement.
Dramatically different and elegant design for the rear derailleur produced in an ultra-light technopolymer with reinforced long strand UD carbon fibre. 3D Embrace technology is huge step forward from current derailleurs function. When you see how the derailleur shifts, you’ll notice that the jockey wheels are incredibly close to every single sprocket giving smooth, instant shifts and maximum efficiency. The derailleur also weighs less but maintains the same rigidity and durability. The trajectory curve has been optimized for 11-29 and 11-32 cassettes. A new upper body return spring has been redesigned to absorb road vibration and protects the derailleur from violent movement on the road. It can also fit direct mount and and standard systems making it easier to remove the wheel during the maintenence..
With the additional sprocket on the cassette the need for a range of cassettes is eliminated. The extra gear allows for single tooth increments all the way up to the 7th sprocket. The shift curve on these new cassettes is so much smoother than competitor 11 speed brands. The cassette is an identical width to the 11-speed versions so they are compatible with all existing Campagnolo freehub bodies. When researching other 12-speed equivalents on the market, they found an incredible amount of flex due to the single ring set up of the cassette. Campagnolo’s are fixed to a spline to offering greater rigidity and smoother shifting. The cassette's last two triplets are CNC'd out of one piece of steel for optimum stiffness Alloy spacers have been used for improved durability.
The chainsets in both groups are a smoother, more aerodynamic design than the previous version with incredible aestheticics. The hollow carbon construction offers a low weight without sacrificing stiffness or reliability. The bolt design has also changed from four to eight, which enhances the chainsets stiffness further. Both models will be available in 165mm to 175mm lengths and compact, semi compact and race chainring options.
The chain is one of the most complicated components when redesigning a groupset simply due to the narrow width and strength required. Campagnolo’s new chain is thinner, lighter, engages quicker and offers the exact same durability as an 11-speed chain.
Campagnolo AFS C3 rotors are supplied in 160mm and 140mm depending on what you order. The C3 rotor is semi-floating and belongs with this groupset.
Bottom bracket supplied is BSA or Italian threaded however if a press fit standard is required BB86, BB30, PF30, BB386, BB30A or BBright then please add this request to notes at checkout or send an email.
COVID 19 update. Overseas shipping is now with a courier only. UPS or Parcel force.
Orders placed in the afternoon normally get sent the next workday where possible. Orders placed before noon are often sent the same day but this is not guaranteed. Priority is given to Royal Mail Special delivery items always.
Same day disptach is not guaranteed due to volume of mail order. In general we are not operating with big delays in dispatch if any.
- Standard shipping is with Royal Mail using there 24 service. Cost £3. This is not a guaranteed service and takes 1-2 days normally but can be longer. The tracking number is not tracking but is a conformation of delivery code. If the item has been delivered to you or a neighbour then the tracking shows something otherwise it won't. If the item is needed urgently then pay for the courier/special delivery.
- For a £7 surcharge, a next day (not sunday) tracked service (from dispatch) with Royal mail special delivery is used. You get an hour delivery slot by text. It's a fine service and worth the money. This only works for items up to 2kg. beyond that it gets very expensive and Parcel Force 24 tracked is used.
- Rims are sent by courier only cost £10. Next working day service with Parcel Force. A phone number and email address must be supplied to allow me to book in. This service can also be picked for smaller items that you want delivered by Parcel Force.
- Wheels shipping cost is £15 (cost of courier + cost of the box) next day. To NI, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and that is a two day service. a surcharge
Due to the disruption in postal service, misdeliveries, customs issues and long delays all overseas shipping is now with UPS/Parcelfocre shipping, weight and destination affect price. So the following applies.
UPS is apply a £5 surcharge to all parcel picked up from 1st November to 1st January. This cost is passed onto you.
E.U countries that I ship to regularly.
Parcel Force shipping is used for a number of European countries. The price is the same for up 25kg. There is not a small parcel rate with Parcel Force. If your country is one of those then checkout is simple.Just checkout and pay. Parcel force offer a road freight service to most of Europe and it takes 2 to 5 days depending on the destination. UPS is also available on request.
Other E.U nations/outside EU customers a will see UPS rates.
However if the rate maybe wrong and the UPS rates assume a small E2 jiffy bag suitable for many small items. This if course does not apply for bigger items or multiples purchases. Quotes are available. Simply registering the website with you address e.t.c and I will provide full quote.
Therefore contact the shop for a shipping quote. Your registered shipping address will used for the UPS quote.
VAT will be removed as well and a new invoice issued. If payment has already been made a refund for excess payment will be issued.
For outside E.U customers the following applies. The order value is with VAT. VAT is 20% so order total for the parts/6 = VAT amount.
Then add the UPS shipping amount. The true amount may differ. the VAT is used if you have under paid if more is due then we will let you know. If you have over paid I will work out what and refund you.
