Pillar Wing21 triple butted J-bend aero spokes black spokes

£2.08

Pillar are a spoke maufacturer supplying most OEM wheel manufacturers and some very big names too.

The spokes we buy are blanks. Pillar supply there blanks with 30mm barrels (nipple end) so these can be cut 10mm shorter thus a 270mm spoke will provide length from 260mm to 270mm. We will of course roll the threads too. Spokes are supplied without nipples as we have a choice of Pillar nipples. While nipples are generally interchangeable manufacturers of course recomend there nipples with there spokes.

The PSR triple butted spokes is ideal for road, gravel or MTB bike use. They can be used with some e-bikes too. Triple butted spokes are superior to double buitted due to the thicker elbow and this provides extra fatigue life. The weight addition is very small. The elbow end is 2.2mm, the mid section is swaged and forged to a elipitcal profile to 1.3x2.0mm and the nipple end is 2.0mm. This spoke is a forged version is the PSR TB2016.

It is the most aero spoke out there and is stiffer than a CX ray due to its extra width.

The material is stainless steel T302+. Weight for a 260mm spoke is 5.2g.

Order the spoke blanks you need. Inform us using notes at check or by email (workshop@thecycleclinic.co.uk) what length you need them cut too and we will cut and thread the spokes for you on our Cyclus spoke cutter/threader.
