Carbon Ti manufacture these thru axles from 7075 grade aluminium alloy. They are light weight and use a hex key for fitting an removal. 

The important specification for a thru axle are head shape (concial or flat), thread diameter, thread length and thread pitch. While thread length can have some leeway thread pitch cannot. 

Gloss black is what is normally stocked. Other colours are to order.
