BORG black alloy tubeless valves x2 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm or 80mm long

£7.50

A pair of BORG black alloy tubeless valves for road, CX/gravel or MTB. The base is rectangular and fits all BORG rims well. They do work work with other rims. In the shop I fit them to BORG, Pacenti, Kinlin, DT Swiss, Shimano and other rims. These come form the same factory as some other more expensive well known branded valves. The eagle eyed may spot which brands I mean as this is the same valve.

The collar is colour matched and there is an rubber ring to stop the collar scratching your rim. With some asymmetric rims leave out the rubber grommit and use the collar upside down. That works a treat.

The valves all have removable presta cores.

Do them up tight and you will get a good seal. Install the tyre with soapy water and inflate. There should be no leak at the valve. If there is you have a tear in the rim tape or you have not fitted the valve correctly.

This is how you avoid installation woes.

Theses lovely valves are not carded to reduce waste.

40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm and 80mm lengths.

These valves fit rims driiled for 6.5mm to 7.8mm holes. Rims without spoke hole/no tape may require manufacturer specific valves.

The length of valave you need is as follows.
40mm valves for rims up to 25mm deep.
50mm valves for rims 26 to 35mm deep.
60mm valves for rims 36mm 45mm deep.
70mm valves for rims 46mm to 55mm deep.
80mm valves for rims 56 to 65mm deep.
